5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Your Vacuum Cleaner may cause damages and injuries if used improperly. To avoid them, follow the
recommendations below:
• This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or people with a lack of experience and knowledge unless they have received instruc-
tions regarding the use of the device or are under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety.
• This equipment may not be used by children under any circumstances.
• It's recommended that children be supervised to ensure that they are not playing with the device.
• Do not use your eqipment while tired, under the infl uence of medication, alcohol or drugs. Lack of attention-
during operation may result in serious personal injury;

This equipment:
• Can cause mechanical or electrical interference on sensitive equipments nearby;
• Must not be used in places where unauthorized people, children or animals may have access to;
• Requires an authorized person for supervision during the use and maintenance, and the user of proper per-
sonal protective equipment (PPE);
• Must be operated with caution so that the suction tool does not come near sensitive parts of the body, such
as eyes, mouth, ears, etc.

Before use, the equipment must be attached to all accessories.

Do not use plugs and extension cords.

Do not have the equipment work without the watch of an operator.

Do not place the equipment on water or any other liquid. If the equipment happens to fall into the
water, pull the plug from the power outlet immediately.

Do not vacuum solvents or powerful detergents.
15.
Do not immerse the equipment in water for cleaning.
16.
Do not use the equipment for vacuuming pointed objects, metal scrap, or large solid objects (Stones or
rocks), because these objects might damage the equipment.
17.
Do not vacuum any burning or smoking material, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
18.
When vacuuming fi ne dust in general or fi ne and dry residues, care must be taken to avoid using the
equipment in explosive atmosphere places, because the friction between the dust and the suction hose
can create static electricity and result in spark, which may cause accidents. Example of explosive atmos-
phere places: places with great concentration of fuels, solvents, paints in general, atomized paint powder,
as well as storage silos.

Do not use the equipment over or near hot surfaces. Keep the power cord away from warm surfaces.
20.
After use, when full, dispose the fi lters and aspirated liquid waste, following the "Environmental orienta-
tions and recommendations". Never use the vacuum cleaner without fi lters;
