OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

•
Before plugging the appliance into the mains for the first time, allow 2 hours for it
to settle if it has been transported in the upright position, or 24 hours if it has been
transported horizontally; this is to allow the refrigerant gas to flow back into the
compressor. Failure to do so could damage the compressor.
•
Plug your appliance into an earthed socket. The appliance does not have an on/off button.
To turn off the appliance you must unplug it from the wall outlet.
•
When the door is opened, the interior light in the refrigerator compartment comes on.
•
After plugging in the appliance, we recommend that you leave it running idle for 1 to 2
hours (depending on the ambient temperature) to allow it to cool down sufficiently before
placing food inside.

The temperature of the refrigerator is controlled by the control panel in the refrigerator
compartment. The freezer compartment is set by default to -18°C and its temperature is not
adjustable.
2
1. Press the Settings button
to the right of the control panel repeatedly to select a
temperature between 2°C and 8°C. The selected temperature lights up on the panel. For normal
daily use, we recommend that you set the temperature to +4°C.
2. Super refrigeration/freezing: Press the button
Freezing function. The LED on the key is lit when the function is activated. It allows you to avoid
the drop in the inside of the appliance's temperature that the addition of a large quantity of
food causes (when returning from shopping, for example). In this case, you should remember to
activate the function about ten hours in advance so that the refrigerator and freezer
compartments
are properly cooled when you insert the food.
• The appliance's product datasheet indicates its freezing capacity (number of kilos of
food that you can freeze in 24 hours).
• If you do not disable the "super cooling/freezing" function, it automatically stops
after 26 hours of operation. The temperature then returns to the previously selected setting.
Comment: If the indicator light 2 or 5 or 8 flashes, it means that the refrigerator is broken.
Please contact the after-sales service for assistance as soon as possible.
•
The temperature inside the appliance depends on a number of different factors such as
ambient temperature, quantity of food stored, how often the door is opened, etc.

REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT
t
emperAture indiCAtor
To make it easier for you to set the right temperature in your refrigerator, it is
equipped with a temperature indicator in the coldest part of the refrigerator
bearing the adjacent pictogram.
•
To keep food fresh in your refrigerator, especially if it is in the coldest part, make sure that
the temperature indicator reads "OK".
Incorrect setting
Correct setting
•
If OK is not displayed, it means that the average temperature is too high, in which case you
should turn the thermostat up to a colder setting.
•
Whenever you alter the thermostat setting, you should give the internal temperature
time to stabilise before making any other changes. The thermostat setting should only
be changed progressively and you should wait at least 12 hours before rechecking the
temperature and making further changes.
Note: It is normal for "OK" not to show on the temperature indicator after loading the appliance
with fresh food or repeatedly opening the door (or leaving it open for a long time); please therefore
wait at least 12 hours before adjusting the temperature.
•
If the refrigerator compartment evaporator (bottom surface of the appliance) frosts up
abnormally (due to the refrigerator being overfilled, a high ambient temperature, the
thermostat being on a high setting or the door being opened frequently), progressively
move the thermostat dial to a lower setting until you reach a point at which the compressor
alternates between on and off again.
