Maintenance
Cleaning and care
• Keep the vent slots of the motor cover clean and without
obstructions.
• After each use, use compressed air.
• If the tool is defective go only to a
Authorized Service center.
Carbon brush replacement
• Replace worn carbon brushes (burnt, broken or smaller
that 0.19" long). Use new carbons.
• When replacing, both carbon brushes shall be replaced
together.
• Remove worn carbon brushes from the carbon housing.
Remove accumulated dust with compressed air.
• Set the new carbons reversing the order. Carbons shall fit
easily in the carbon housing.
• After setting the new carbon brushes, let the tool run
unloaded 10 minutes to better adjust the carbons.
• Use only original
spare carbons
specifically designed with the hardness and resistance
adequate for each type of motor. Carbons that are out of
specification could damage the motor.
