SERVICE
CALIBRATING PROCEDURE
1. Kettle must be empty when this procedure is executed.
2. Insure the kettle is at room temperature and has a vacuum before you begin calibrating
procedure. If unit requires venting refer to "Kettle Venting Instructions".
3. Turn kettle ON and set temperature dial to 10 (Max.).
4. Allow the unit to cycle twice.
5. Using a digital surface thermometer locate the hottest point on inner kettle surface.
6. Note temperature when the unit cycles off. It should be between 260°- 265°F.
7. If adjustment is required turn the potentiometer slightly clockwise to INCREASE or counter-
clockwise to DECREASE temperature.
8. Allow the unit to cycle twice.
9. Locate the hottest point and re-check temperature of the inner kettle surface with a digital
surface thermometer.
10. Repeat steps 5. through 8. until unit is calibrated.
