The Silicone Wrap is a waterproof barrier that protects your AirTag from water. The Silicone Wrap must be
clean, intact and undamaged to be effective. A single strand of hair or grain of sand can undermine the
waterproof seal.
This case has a water ingress rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 and is designed to meet or exceed
pressures up to 330 ft/100 meters. However, even if the case is above a depth it's rated for, it may still suffer
water ingression if it is subjected to an activity that creates pressure that exceeds the depth rating, such as
movement through water. Our water rating is suitable for rain, splashing, showering, swimming and
snorkeling. Do not expose your AirTag to high velocity water, e.g. while water skiing or in a sauna or steam
room. Do not open the case underwater as this will allow water to enter the case and it may damage your
AirTag.
The case is also designed to meet or exceed the test standards of US Military Standard 810G for drops. The
waterproof and drop proof characteristics may not be permanent and may decrease as a result of normal
wear or exposure to environmental conditions (see Care & Limitations).
After a drop or impact, remove your AirTag from the case. Make sure the case is still in good working order
before using it or exposing it to water again. If the Silicone Wrap is unable to keep the unexposed part of your
AirTag dry, do not use the case underwater. Do not use a damaged case or your AirTag, such as one that is
bent, cracked, shows visible signs of water intrusion, as the water proof characteristic and ability to securely
hold your AirTag may be compromised. Examples of damage are:
• Silicone Wrap, e.g. cuts, abrasions, puncture marks, scoring, tears and wear and tear.
• Case Front and Case Back, e.g. dents, crazing, cracks and warping, misalignment of parts.
• Clip, e.g. dents, crazing, cracks, warping, loosening or malfunctioning hinge or clasp, misalignment of parts
and wear and tear.

La pellicule de silicone est une barrière étanche qui protège votre AirTag de l'eau. Pour une efficacité
optimale, l'emballage en silicone doit être propre, intact et non endommagé. Une seule mèche de cheveux ou
un grain de sable peut compromettre l'étanchéité.
Cet étui présente un indice de résistance à l'eau de IP68 selon la norme IEC 60529 et il est conçu pour
satisfaire ou dépasser des pressions allant jusqu'à 330 pieds/100 mètres. Cependant, même si l'étui se
trouve au-dessus de la profondeur pour laquelle il a été conçu, il peut néanmoins subir une infiltration d'eau
en cas d'activité créant une pression supérieure à la profondeur nominale, comme un mouvement dans l'eau.
Notre indice d'étanchéité est adapté à la pluie, aux éclaboussures, aux douches, à la natation et à la plongée
avec tuba. N'exposez pas votre AirTag à de l'eau à grande vitesse, comme par exemple en faisant du ski
nautique ou dans un sauna ou un hammam. N'ouvrez pas l'étui sous l'eau car ceci pourrait compromettre la
résistance à l'eau permettant à l'eau de pénétrer dans l'étui et d'endommager votre AirTag.
L'étui est également conçu pour satisfaire ou dépasser les normes de test de la norme militaire américaine
810G en cas de chute. Les caractéristiques d'étanchéité et de résistance aux chutes ne sont pas
permanentes et peuvent diminuer en raison de l'usure naturelle ou de l'exposition aux conditions
environnementales (voir Entretien et limitations).
