1 Intended use
Pit ladder with monitoring contact.
2 Safety instructions
All safety instructions and all safety measures for lift mounting have to be
considered while mounting.
Assembly operations at the lift systems have to be accomplished only by
qualified persons.
If the ladder is mounted in a lift shaft, the ladder and its attachments must
not extend into the moving parts of the lift in the storage position.
The ladder must jut out at least 1.10m beyond the exit, according to
EN81-20.
In order to guarantee the appropriate utilisation, the instructions
attached to every ladder have to be followed.

x 3m chain for the ladder
x Wall attachment, incl. monitoring contact
x Fixation material
4 Mounting
First check the content of the delivery.
4.1 Wall attachment
The fixing height for the attachment varies depending on the different ladder lengths.
The attachment has to be mounted where it is easily accessible from the user's standing
position. The fixing height and the position must be chosen so that the attachment does
not extend into the moving parts of the lift.
