Batteries should be replaced by an adult. Never dispose of batteries in fire as this may cause them to explode.
Make sure the battery compartment is secure. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Non-
rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Do not use Nickel Cadmium rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable
batteries are to be removed from the "musical tummy timer" before charged (if removable). Rechargeable
batteries should be charged under adult supervision. Take care to fit the batteries correctly observing the "+" and
"-" sign marks on the battery and appliance. Remove dead batteries and all batteries from the "musical tummy
timer" which are not going to be used for a long time otherwise the batteries may leak and cause damage.
Only batteries of the same or equivalent type are to be used. Do not mix alkaline, Zinc Carbon, or rechargeable
batteries. Replace both batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries.
