CArE AND MAINTENANCE
Storage
When not in use, we recommend transporting and storing the container with its cover on
and place it inside the black non-woven bag included with the backpack.
The backpack / container could change considerably if exposed to temperatures higher
than 70°C (158°F). Inside of dark-colored vehicles or rucksacks, this temperature could
be exceeded during hot days.
The backpack should not be unnecessarily exposed to UV rays, heat, and humidity.
The optimal position to store the protection and the harness is to lay them flat. If they are
bent too much and for long periods of time, the characteristics of the harness could be
altered.
Maintenance
The backpack / rescue container can be washed in a washing machine at 30°C maximum
but do not spin dry or dry under direct sunlight. Do not wash regularly. Washing should
not be done more than once a year.
Check the backpack and safety accessories once a year, after 150h, or after a strong
impact.
Check seams, webbing, and links regularly.
Repairs
Repairs must be carried out at NEO's workshop or at an authorized repair workshop.
Validity
Carabiners (optional) must be discarded and replaced after 500 flight hours or 5 years.
Recycling
Once the product is no longer fit for use, or if the pilot thinks it is worn out, remove any
metal parts and take it to a specialized incineration facility.
