Installation Instructions
Concrete Instructions (Option B)
Perform the following procedures to mount the MSR on a
concrete wall surface:
NOTE: Read the Warnings and Cautions on page 2.
Select Mounting Location
To select the mounting location, do the following:
NOTE: Read the Warnings and Cautions on page 2.
1. Determine the exact mounting location to install the
mount prior to installation, keeping in mind the
screen size.
NOTE: If possible, select a flat concrete wall surface to
mount the MSR. Do not select a mounting
surface that is visibly uneven, jagged, or serrated.
2. Draw a level plumb line to indicate the desired height
of the mount.
3. Holding the MSR against the concrete wall, mark the
center of the outside mounting holes as shown in
Figure 4. Make sure the mounting holes are level and
square. Lay the MSR down on the floor.
NOTE: The holes are slotted in the mount to allow for
lateral movement. The mount can be centered, or
shifted to the left of center, or shifted to the right
of center depending on the mounting location.
4. Drill four 5/16" holes into the concrete surface on the
points marked in Step 3 using the correct drill bit.
Mount the MSR
To mount the MSR, do the following:
1. Install four anchors (40) into the holes previously
drilled in the concrete wall.
2. Place MSR against the concrete wall. Align the
mount with the holes drilled in the preceding
procedure (see Figure 4).
3. Install the lag bolts (20) and washers (30) into the
holes previously drilled.
4. Tighten the lag bolts.
6
Mark the center of the outside
mounting holes, which are
slotted for lateral movement.
