CAUTION
Ensure that you familiarise yourself with the
system after it has been fitted to your vehicle.
If the sensors are too close to an obstacle, the
system may not emit a beep.
NOTE
If a tow hook is installed, a small black connector
with a red jumper (situated in the boot of the
vehicle), allows the system to be temporarily
deactivated so as to prevent the trailer from being
unnecessarily detected when you back up. A
switch (optional) can be fitted instead of the red
jumper if the trailer is used frequently.

2. Operating tips

2.1. General recommendations
Although this device is a valid aid when reversing,
remember that the driver is always responsible
for evaluating nearby obstructions. Always drive
carefully and cautiously to avoid injuring persons
(children, animals, ...) or causing material
damage. If you back up at high speed, the sensors
will be unable to detect the obstacles in time.
2.2. Temporary malfunction
The Park Master may not operate correctly in
the following situations:
where there is foreign matter on the sensor
(ice,snow,mud,...)
if you are close to a radio communications
antenna
if you are approaching a source of ultrasonic
waves (horn,motorcycle engine,...)
if the road is bumpy
if the sensor is covered
if the vehicle is listing due to unequal load
distribution
in heavy rain or if water splashes onto the
sensor
if you get too close to an obstacle
if the sensor is frozen.

2.3. Reduced sensing range
The sensing range may decrease in the following
situations:
if the vehicle is parked for a long time in hot
sun or in cold weather
in case of objects with low reflective
properties
if the detection sensor is clogged with
mud,snow or ice.
2.4. No detection
Owing to their low reflective properties, the
sensors may not be able to detect the following
objects:
very
(wires,ropes,wire fences,etc.)
objects with high absorption properties
(snow,cotton,etc.)
sharp angled objects.
The system may not be able to detect the
lower part of certain designs of bumper.

3. Operation procedure

3.1. Start the engine.
Make sure the engine is running in order to
prevent the battery from discharging.
