The measuring distance is too
great.

SOLUTIONS
Make sure there is no
obstruction prior to taking the
temperature.
Be careful not to be in the axis
of an airflow, this could cause
interference with the infrared
system.
Please observe the minimum
interval of 1 minute between
two readings - a 3 min delay is
advised.
Please respect the measuring
distance (between 2 and 5 cm /
0.79 - 1.97 in).
