Fuse Replacement (Fig. 3)
1. Follow steps 1 through 3 under Battery Replacement.
2. After unfastening case back, carefully remove four small screws from Circuit Board A.
Lift Circuit Board A off of Circuit Board B/Case Front and turn over. Be careful not to
damage circuit board while handling.
3. Remove defective fuse by gently prying one end of the fuse loose and sliding the fuse out
of the holder.
4. Install a new fuse of the same size and rating. Check that new fuse is centered in fuse
holder.
5. Replace circuit board in case front and replace four screws to hold board in place.
6. Check battery leads so that they will not be pinched when case is reassembled. Make sure
all gaskets are properly seated and reassemble case halves. Replace the screws and tighten
firmly. Be careful not to overtighten.
