ELECTRICAL HAZARD
•
Do not operate the product when the product itself or the power cable are visibly
damaged.
•
Do not alter the treadmill in any way and use only original replacement parts. The
user may also not replace the power cable. Have any repairs to the product or the
power cable carried out by a professional workshop only. Improper repairs can
result in significant hazards for the user.
•
Do not expose the product to moisture. Do not operate the device out of doors or in
spaces with high humidity. Shield the device from spraying and dripping water.
•
Connect the product to a properly installed power outlet with protective contacts
whose supply voltage complies with the product's technical data.
•
Disconnect the power plug from the wall socket
•
if malfunctions occur during operation,
•
after use,
•
during thunderstorms, and
•
before cleaning the product.
•
Unplug by pulling the plug, do not tug on the power cable itself.
•
The power outlet must be easily accessible so that the device may be disconnected
quickly if necessary. Lay the power cable so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
•
The power cable may not be bent or crimped. Keep the power cable away from hot
surfaces and sharp corners.
•
If the mains cable of this device has been damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, their customer service, or any other equally qualified person in order
to avoid hazards.
•
Never leave the product unattended during use.
•
Do not short-circuit the terminal caps.
WARNING RISK OF INJURY
•
The safety level of the product can be maintained only when it is regularly checked
for damage and wear. Therefore, always verify that the product is in impeccable
condition before use. Defective components must be replaced immediately as
failure to do so may impair the functioning and safety of the product. In this case,
please contact our customer service team. The treadmill may not be used until the
defective components have been replaced.
•
Always operate the treadmill on a solid, nonslip and even floor. Compensate for any
unevenness in the floor! If necessary, lay a nonslip mat beneath the product.
•
Make sure that you have enough space to freely move while exercising on
the treadmill and that no levers, adjustment elements, furnishings, or persons
(especially toddlers) protrude into or are located in your range of motion, which may
affect your training or result in injury.
•
Maintain a safety zone of 100 x 200 cm (W x L) in front of the product. Leave or
store so the product that no one may hurt themselves on protruding parts.
•
Wear comfortable sportswear and sturdy sports shoes with a nonslip sole. Do not
exercise barefoot.
•
Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation in your exercise room. But avoid drafts
during training.
