d. Other Setup Functions
1- LCD Backlighting
The LCD backlighting will be on for approx. 8 seconds when any key is pressed.
- In any mode, press the up (3) or down (4) key to until "LED" appears on the display.
- Press the on/off key (5) to enter the LED menu.
- Press the up (3) or down (4) keys to change the LED colour code.
- Press the on/off key (5) to confirm the setting & return to the main screen.
2- Key Lock or Unlock
In any mode, press the on/off key (5) and then the up (3) key simultaneously to lock or unlock the keypad.
You can lock all keys except the PTT key.
3- Auto-Exit of the Menus
When a menu is opened yet there is no operation in 5 seconds, the unit will automatically exit the menu & return
to the main screen.
4- Fast up/down
While changing settings, keeping the up (3) or down (4) pressed for more than 1 second will cause the value to
change faster.
