MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• If not used for longer periods, remove the batteries from the instrument.
• As there are no mechanical parts, no regular maintenance is necessary.
The reference lamp inside is designed for long term use
• Clean the external surfaces with a clean cloth slightly dampened in water.
Do not use solvents or potentially aggressive substances. Do not spray liquids
directly onto the instrument. Do not use abrasive cleaning material.

PUTTING OUT OF SERVICE

At the end of the instrument's working life, or if it becomes irreparably damaged, remove
the batteries and dispose of them separately.
Notes of the disposal of different materials. Separation and recycling of waste material.
Refer to European Waste Disposal Directive 160200 governing the disposal of equipment
or decommissioned equipment parts to dispose of or recycle.
Description of materials used in the PD-meter:
• The external structure of the body is made from ABS plastic.
• The printed circuit board with its components and wiring is inside.
