Battery Installation
1. Open the battery compartment by pushing the tab in and
pull the back off.
2. Insert 4 "AA" size batteries as show on the right.
3. place the battery compartment end back on.
WARNING: Danger of explosion if batteries are
incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same
or equivalent type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Replace the batteries when the sound becomes unstable or
cannot be heard.
• When you are not going to use your unit for a long time, remove
the batteries to prevent damage from battery leakage and
corrosion.

Setting The Date & Time
1. Press the SET button twice. Press the Mode button
repeatedly until the desired MONTH is set.
2. Press the SET button. Press the Mode button
repeatedly until the desired DAY is set.
3. Press the SET button. Press the Mode button
repeatedly until desired HOUR is set.
4 . Press the SET button. Press the Mode button
repeatedly until desired MINUTE is set.
NOTE:
The seconds are set automatically.
5. Press the SET button to exit setting mode.
NOTE:
The clock will reset when the batteries are removed.
Viewing The Time, Date & Seconds
1. Press the MODE button to cycle through Time,
Date & Seconds.
Listen To The Radio
1. Set the ON-OFF VOLUME control to ON position
2. Set the AM/FM/WB selector to AM or FM.
3. Tune in the desired station.
4. To adjust the volume turn the VOLUME
control on the side.
5. To turn the unit off set the ON-OFF VOLUME
control to OFF.
Improve Radio Reception
FM
Extend the hand strap.
AM
Rotate the unit.
Listening To The Weather band
1. Set the ON-OFF VOLUME control to ON position.
2. Set the AM/FM/WB selector to WB.
3. Tune in the desired station.
Using The Flash Light, Lantern, & Siren
1. Locate the selector button to turn on LED
Lantern, Torch, or Siren.
2. Switch the selector button to off when done.
Using The Emergency Siren with Blinking Light
1.
Locate the selector button to turn on Siren

TroubleShooting
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
No sound is heard.
Power is not on.
VOLUME Control is set to minimum.
Station has not been tuned properly.
FM reception is weak.
AM reception is weak.
