Cleaning
Before cleaning the Powersocket disconnect the mains plug.
The Powersocket should only be dusted. Do not use any liquid
cleaners or sprays.

Initial operation

Connect the supplied power cord to the Oehlbach Powersocket
905 and insert the mains plug into a wall outlet. The multi-
socket outlet can now be activated via the power switch.
USB ports
The Powersocket 905 is equipped with two USB ports, which
can be used to charge multimedia devices (MP3 players,
smartphones, etc.). The USB ports are only active when the
Powersocket is switched on via the power switch.

Surge protection

If the surge protection function of the Powersocket 905 is trig-
gered as a result of extreme voltage peaks, the eight sockets
(and all of the connected devices) are disconnected from the
mains. The Powersocket can be used again by pressing the
RESET button.
Correct operation of the active surge protection function is in-
dicated by the PROTECTED light.
