Close the top cover and tighten the two side screws.
Connect the power from the electrical outlet and the DC input of
the housing.
Connect the USB 3.0 cable between PC and housing.
Press the ON switch, the LED will automatically turn on, indicating
that your hard drive is activated.
Go to My Computer and locate your hard drive.
Once you have copied and pasted the files to your hard drive make
sure you remove the device safely through the device manager and
change the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Note: If the HDD is new you need to initialize it. Write in the run
box type: diskmgmt.msc and press Enter to open the Windows Disk
Manager, your HDD will appear in a black box, as assigned, click
with the right mouse button and select New Simple Volume and
follow the steps the wizard to finish creating the new volume.
