Precaución
Read the following sections carefully before starting the stove
- Do not use the patio heater indoors, as this may cause personal injury or property
damage.
- This outdoor heater is not intended for installation in recreational vehicles and/or
boats.
- Installation and repair must be performed by a qualified service person.
- Improper installation, adjustment and alteration may cause personal injury or
property damage.
- Do not attempt to alter the unit in any way.
- Never replace or substitute the regulator with anything other than that suggested by
the factory.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids in the heater unit.
- The entire gas system, hose, regulator, pilot or burner should be inspected by a
qualified technician at least once a year.
- All leak tests should be performed with a soapy solution suitable for this purpose.
Never leave the flame open to check for leaks.
- Do not use the heater until all connections have been leak tested.
- Close the gas valve immediately if a gas odor is detected. Close the cylinder valve.
- If the leak is at the hose/regulator connection: tighten the connection and perform
another leak test. If you continue to see bubbles after several attempts, the cylinder
valve may be defective, stop using the stove and consult a qualified technician about
this problem.
If you continue to see bubbles after several attempts, the cylinder valve is defective
and should be returned to the place of cylinder purchase.
- Do not transport the heater while in operation.
- Do not move the heater after it has been turned off until the temperature has cooled.
- Keep the vent opening of the cylinder housing free and clear of debris.
- Do not paint the radiant screen, control panel or top cover reflector.
- The control compartment, burner and heater circulating air passages should be kept
clean.
- Frequent cleaning may be necessary.
- The LP gas tank should be turned off when the heater is not in use.
- Check the heater immediately if any of the following occur:
1. The heater does not reach temperature.
2. The burner makes a popping noise during use (a slight noise is normal when off).
3. Gas odor coupled with a yellow colored flame with extreme tilt.
- The gas regulator/hose assembly should be located out of the way where people
can trip over it or in area where the hose is not subject to accidental damage.
