Electric Barbecue with Lid Use instructions
* When the indicator light on the thermostat switches off, the required cooking temperature has been reached
and that the grill is ready to use.
The indicator light on the thermostat shows that the grill is heating up. It will stay on until the grill reaches the set
temperature; the indicator light will then switch on and off cyclically during the cooking process to guarantee that
the selected temperature is maintained.
The pre-heating time depends on the chosen heat setting.
The higher the selected temperature, the longer the pre-heating time will be.
To remove the grease, do not use metal utensils, to avoid damaging the non-stick plate. Always use a spatula,
wooden or heat resistant silicone utensils. Avoid using sauces or gravies or any liquid that may not be easy to
be cleaned.
Warning: steam may be released during or after cooking; pay attention to avoid contact with face
and hands.
When cooking is done, turn the thermostat to 0 position, unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow
it to completely cool down before removing the thermostat and proceeding with cleaning.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning: never place the thermostat, plug or power cord in water or other liquids; only wipe these
parts clean with a damp cloth.
Warning: always unplug the power cord from the electricity mains before fitting or removing single
attachments or before cleaning the appliance.
Before carrying out cleaning operations, make sure that the appliance has completely cool down.
The lid, the non-stick plate and the drip tray can be washed in warm soapy water.
After cooking, it is advisable to take the drip tray out carefully, and use cold oil to melt grease and remove cooking
residues before proceeding with cleaning.
The base can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or washed using warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth.

The European directive 2011/65/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires
that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal
waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and
recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you
dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
