MESHLE flex - Smart Bluetooth LED Controller
Safety notes
• The user of this device must have read and understood these ope-
rating instructions prior to its first use in order to safely implement
this device.
• Keep these operating instructions for the entire service life of the
product.
• Pass these operating instructions on to every further owner or user
of the product.
• The device must only be used when it functions properly. If the device
or part of the device is defective, have it repaired by a specialist.
• Never open the housing.
• Never use the unit in a room where there is a danger of explosion or
in the vicinity of flammable liquids or gases.
• Do not place or immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• Main power voltage and fuse must meet the technical data specifi-
cations.
• Do not connect an LED strip that exceeds 6A load. The controller or
the LEDs can be damaged.
• Never short circuit the device.
• Never connect the controller directly to 230 V ~ mains voltage. There
is danger to your life.
• The ambient temperature must always be between -20°C (-4°F) -
+60°C (140°F). Keep away from direct insulation (particularly in cars)
and heaters.
• The device is designed for indoor use only.
• Do not use any chemical cleaners. Disconnect from mains before
starting cleaning.
• This product is not a toy and it is not suitable for children.
Important!
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are
forbidden due to safety reasons! If this device will be operated in
any way different to the one described in this manual, the product
may suffer damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore,
any other operation may lead to dangers like short-circuit, burns,
electric shock, crash etc. Personal injury or material damage caused
by an improper use shall not be the manufacturer's but the user's
responsibility.
Product description
MESHLE flex - Smart Bluetooth LED Controller with network capability
serves for control of RGB LED strips. The control unit requires an ope-
rating voltage of 12V direct current. Each controller has an integrated
Bluetooth Low Energy chip. LED strip that is connected to a MESHLE flex
controller can be controlled directly with the smartphone via Bluetooth.
Multiple MESHLE flex controllers build a Bluetooth mesh network which
allows to control multiple RGB LED strips individually or in a group with
iOS & Android app.

Starting at a distance up to 25m (82ft) the radio range will be automati-
cally extended when additional MESHLE flex controllers are added to the
network. A command from your smartphone is passed along from one
controller to another.
Mounting and connection
• Step 1: Connect the plug of the control unit via 4 PIN RGB LED strip
connector to the input connector of the LED ribbon. The arrows of
both plugs must point to each other. Otherwise the LEDs do not
light up.
• Step 2: Place the controller in a suitable location using the supplied
mounting pad.
• Step 3: Connect a suitable power supply unit to power input of the
controller. Plug the power adapter into a working 230 V ~ socket. The
LEDs light up according to the last control program selected.

Operation
After you have connected the controller to RGB LED strip and power
supply as shown in the connection diagram
and have downloaded the app on your smartphone, please proceed
as follows:
• Step 1: Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
• Step 2: Start the app. The search for controllers will start automati-
cally.
• Step 3: Follow the instructions in the app.
Firmware updates
You can upgrade MESHLE flex firmware using your smartphone. The
ability to update controllers over the air allows us to bring new features
for the firmware with the future updates.
Reset Device
Reset the device to factory settings by using a thin object (e.g. paperclip
or needle) to press the reset button.
