CONNECTING TO AC POWER
1.Connect the power cord to the AC mains inlet and the wall outlet. The power supply is now connected and
ready for use.
2.To switch off completely, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to protect your set during heavy thunderstorms.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY FOR THE UNIT (INCLUDED)
Battery Supply
The TOKAI SP-5 is supplied with a rechargeable battery Li-ion 3.7V. The battery duration is an hour and a
half.
IMPORTANT: The battery compartment is not accessible by the user. It is reserved for after sales service.
Battery Charging
Connect the unit by inserting the DC 6V IN jack, and plug the adaptor into AC wall outlet. The red indicator
will lighting during battery charging. The charging time is around 3 hours.
P.S: Do not charge the battery with the AC/DC adaptor for more than 24 hours.
Battery precautions
 If the unit has not been used for a long period of time, the rechargeable battery may be completely
discharged into a "sleep mode" condition. This is the characteristics of all the rechargeable battery. For the
first time to recharge (to wake up) the battery, it is recommended to charge for a period exceed 5 hours
but not exceed 24 hours.
 Use only the supplied rechargeable battery.
 Warning: The battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
