4. Use Figure 4 to aid in assembly. Remove the template and drill
pilot holes at 1,2,3 and 4 punch marks with 1/8-inch drill bit.
Enlarge all holes with 9mm-drill bit. DO NOT drill through the
template.

5. Use Figure 5 to aid in assembly. Apply lubricant to holes and
attach the rivnuts to the roof at the above holes with Rivnut tool
assembly.

6. Position Right Hand Template to Passenger side and repeat
steps 1 through 4 for Rivnut installation.
CAUTION: Care should be taken in center punching and drilling.
Excessive pressure may cause dimpling in the roof panel.
Mount Luggage Rack Assembly
7. Use Figure 6 to aid in assembly. Locate the left (driver side) and
right (passenger side) Side Rail. The 7mm Diameter hole on the
rail should face the front of the vehicle with the 'INBOARD' mark
toward the center of the vehicle. Place the assembled luggage
carrier on its respective side of the roof and align to the roof holes.
8. Fasten the luggage carrier with the screws provided. Drive the
attaching screws in sequence as shown in Figure 4. Torque
screws to 35+/-5 in-lbs.
