5.1) Removal / Installation of short
top shell
We recommend that you carry out
the following operations while re-
sting the helmet on a flat surface.
To fit the short peak (configuration 2),
remove screws and visor following
the instructions given in paragraph
1.3 – "VISOR REMOVAL / INSTAL-
LATION".
Then, as shown in the figure below,
starting from one of the two sides
of the helmet, insert the top shell so
that the side inserts coincide with the
movement base housings (1). Holding
the peak in place, insert the side
screw so that the two pins fit into the
housings on the movement base and
turn the side screw 90° clockwise (2).
Repeat operations (1) and (2) on the
other side.
To remove the peak, follow the in-
structions in the figure below: starting
from one of the two sides of the
helmet, turn the side screw 90° anti-
clockwise (1) and remove it. Repeat
operations on the other side. Remove
the peak.
5.2) Removal / Installation of long
peak
We recommend that you carry out
the following operations while re-
sting the helmet on a flat surface.
To fit the long peak (configuration 3),
remove screws and visor following the
instructions given in paragraph 1.3
– "VISOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION".
Then, as shown in the figure below,
starting from one of the two sides of
the helmet, insert the peak so that the
side inserts coincide with the movement
base housings (1). Holding the peak in
place, insert the side screw so that the
two pins fit into the housings on the
movement base and turn the side screw
90° anticlockwise (2). Repeat opera-
tions (1) and (2) on the other side.
To remove the peak, follow the instruc-
tions in the figure below: starting from
one of the two sides of the helmet, turn
the side screw 90° clockwise and remove
it. Repeat operations on the other side.
Remove the peak.
