Descaling:
• The manufacturer recommends descaling the kettle
regularly, as the consumption of energy increases if
the kettle has significant lime scale. The time intervals
for descaling the kettle will depend on the degree of
hardness of the water used and the frequency of use.
• Descale the kettle every 3 months when a normal
use is made of the kettle and when the water is soft. If
the water is hard, descale it once a month.
• You can find information on the hardness of the water
in your area through your water supplier.
• Descale the kettle as soon as possible if the boiling
process lasts a long time or if there is considerable
lime scale on the heating plate in the water tank.
• Pour the descaler into the water tank. You can use a
mixture of household vinegar with water in a proportion
of 1:1 or a descaler solution of wide domestic use.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the use of
the descaler.
• Boil the descaler liquid in the kettle.
• Leave the liquid to act for half an hour after boiling.
• Boil the liquid for the second time if there is significant
lime scale
• Then, throw away the water.
• Boil fresh water from the tap and throw it away after
boiling it.
