• Plug the connector plug into the appliance. Only the suitable connector plug - 9 - 10.
• Plug the power cord in the wall socket - 9.
• Set the thermostat to the desired position - 11.
• The indicator light lights up - 11.
• After pre-heating, the appliance is ready for use. The indicator light turns off.
• The indicator light will blink regularly while the appliance is in use.
After use
• Set the thermostat to Min position - 15.
• Leave to cool 2 hours minimum - 16.
• After cooking, the appliance is hot: handle it with care (the appliance with hot oil should not be moved).
• Unplug the power cord, disconnect it from the appliance - 17.
• Do not use a metallic sponge or scouring powder as these could damage the cooking surface (e.g. non
stick coating, etc.) - 20.
• If food has burned, leave the fondue pot to soak a little while before cleaning - 21.
• The connector must be removed before the appliance is cleaned and the connector socket must be dry
before the appliance is used again.
• The fondue pot must be cleaned with a sponge, warm water and a little washing-up liquid. The forks
as well as the fork holders are dishwasher-safe - 19 - 22 - 23.
