Fitment Method—underfloor anchorage plates:
• Position anchorage plates on underside of body floor, as indicated in the installation
diagram for the appropriate kit. Note carefully the orientation of the plates and their
location relative to adjacent chassis rails. Where location against two chassis rails is not
possible, the installation diagram provides indication of position; in terms of number of
floor corrugations, taken from the vehicle centre-line and from the nearest chassis rail.
The anchorage plates are to be centred on the corrugations.

• Mark the hole position with a permanent marker or paint pen. Where anchorage plates
have two or more holes, the installation diagram will indicate the correct hole with an X.
• Drill a small pilot hole through the floor at each of the marked positions. This can be
used as a centre-mark, to open the hole to 12mm from inside the body . Where recessed
fittings are required, the pilot hole can also be used to counter-bore the internal flooring,
using a hole saw or similar.
• The anchorages can be assembled, together with your selection of tie-down, through
the vehicle floor. Please note the appropri- ate spacer at each position. These spacers
are provided to prevent the corrugations in the vehicle floor from collapsing when the
retaining bolt is tensioned. They may require fitment above or below the vehicle floor,
dependent on the attitude of the corruga- tion. The anchorage plate and the spacer may
be bonded to the vehicle structure while being assembled, for added security.

Fitment method—upper anchorage plates:
• Drill Ø12mm hole in the position indicated on the installation diagram for the appropriate kit.
• Apply liberal coating of grab adhesive to the bonding (flat) surface of the anchorage spreader plate. Ensure threads are clear of adhesive.
Insert the anchorage plate through the aperture indicated by the green arrow and align with the Ø12mm hole .
• Secure using 7/16" UNF bolt, to hold while adhesive cures.
