18. D:S (Distance Coefficient)
Limit 98 has D:S of 50:1 which means that if an object is measured from a distance of 50m the instrument
will show the average value of 1m in diameter (shown below).

19. Visual field
Ensure that the target is larger than the diameter of the two laser spots. The smaller the target is, the closer
should the measurement distance be. Suggested measurement distance should be so the diameter of the two
laser spots cover less than 75% of the testing area (shown below).
