Operation

A damaged device or damaged accessories can lead to injuries.
- Check the device and the accessories (see the chapter on "Points
to check").
Reduced or blocked ventilation of the heat pump can lead to
insufficient removal of heat or moisture. This can cause mould to
form or overheating of the finned heat exchanger.
- Clean the grille in front of the fan blade and the fins of the heat
exchanger regularly and ensure that debris such as leaves or the
like do not enter the inner part of the heat exchanger.
- Ensure that the grille on the heat exchanger is never covered
over and air can flow freely through the device.

RCD adapter

The RCD adapter
consists of an earth-contact plug and a residual current device. The
C
earth-contact plug must be connected to a suitable power socket with a protective earth
conductor. The residual current device disconnects the heat pump from the electricity as
soon as any unexpected currents which are hazardous for humans flow via the heat
pump (e.g. body contact via electrically conductive parts of the housing).
