The TFBASE-SOUNDER is a universal base with acoustic signaling device for Tecnofi re detectors. The base complies
with the European Standard EN 54-3. It is suited for local alarm signaling in small spaces with good sound isolation, e.g. in
hospitals or hotels.
N.B. From a functional point of view there is no logical interaction between the base and the detector.
The settings of the base are included in the programming menus of the detectors.
The base can generate 8 different sound types (see table) programmable by dip-switch. The switches 1, 2 and 3 of the
dip-switch set the sound type, the fourth switch permits volume setting.

Functioning of the base is defi ned by two parameters that are associated to the detector, the sub-formula and the functioning criterion.
Sub-formula
The sub-formula defi nes what releases the alarm.
Functioning criterion
The functioning criterion defi nes what stops the alarm.
If the criterion acknowledgeable is selected, the acknowledgment command of the control panel stops the acoustic alarm
signal of the base, otherwise, if the criterion non-acknowledgeable is selected, the acoustic alarm signal of the base follows
the ooperational criterion given by the sub-formula.

It is possible to wire an optical repeater to the base.
N.B. The base is only compatible with the optical repeater TFRIP by Tecnofi re.
Other types may compromise the correct functioning of the base.
The test menu of the detector provides the option Activation permitting the sound test of the base. Selecting this option,
the base will run the sound test. The sound signal will remain active until deactivation of the test function.

La TFBASE-SOUNDER es una base universal con dispositivo de señalización acústica para detectores Tecnofi re. La base
cumple con la norma europea EN 54-3. Es adecuada para la señalización de alarma local en espacios pequeños con un buen
aislamiento acústico, ej. en hospitales u hoteles.
N.B. Desde un punto de vista funcional no hay interacción lógica entre la base y el detector.
Los ajustes de la base se incluyen en los menús de programación de los detectores.

La base puede generar 8 tipos de sonido defi rentes (véase tabla) programables por dip-switch.

Es posible cablear un repetidor óptico a la base.
N.B. La base sólo es compatible con el repetidor óptico TFRIP de Tecnofi re.
Otros tipos pueden comprometer el correcto funcionamiento de la base.
TEST / PRUEBA
El menú de prueba del detector proporciona la opción Activación que permite la prueba de sonido de la base. Al seleccionar esta
opción, la base ejecutará la prueba de sonido. La señal sonora permanecerá activa hasta la desactivación de la función de prueba.
