TFM420MA - Addressable 4-20mA device interface
DESCRIPTION
The TFM420MA is an interface for 4-20mA devices which
can be connected to the TFA series fire alarm panels from
Tecnofire. The interface provides 2 inputs monitored by LED
with their corresponding repeater outputs. The inputs can be
used to control the status of detectors with 4-20mA outputs.
The module is equipped with a loop isolator which, in case
of failure, disconnects the device from the loop in order to
safeguard the correct functioning of the devices connected
downstream and upstream.
INPUT EXCLUSION
Using the dip-switch it is possible to exclude the input 2.
Warning! It is not possible to exclude the input 1.
ADDRESS
Two rotary switches mounted under the cover of the module
permit programming of 2-digits addresses. Each switch
programs one of the digits the address is composed of,
X10 the tens and X1 the ones. If both inputs are enabled,
the module occupies two addresses. Since the addresses
are necessarily consecutive, only the first one (input 1)
is programmed by the rotary switches X10 and X1.
The address of the second input is programmed
automatically, e.g. if the first input has the address 58,
the second input has the address 59.

TFM420MA - Interface dispositif adressable 4-20mA
DESCRIPCIÓN
El TFM420MA es una interfaz para los dispositivos 4-20mA
que se puede conectar a las centrales de incendiode la
serie TFA de Tecnofire. La interfaz proporciona 2 entradas
controladas mediante LED con sus correspondientes salida
de repetición. Las entradas se pueden utilizar para controlar
el estado de los detectores con salidas 4-20mA. El módulo
está dotado de un loop isolator que, en caso de avería,
desconecta el dispositivo del bucle para preservar el correcto
funcionamiento de los dispositivos pre- y postconectados.
EXCLUSIÓN DE ENTRADA
Utilizando el dip-switch es posible excluir la entrada 2.
Atención: No es posible excluir la entrada 1.
DIRECCIÓN

Dos conmutadores rotativos montados debajo de la tapa del
módulo permiten la programación de direcciones de 2 dígitos.
Cada conmutador programa un dígito de la dirección,
X10 las decenas y X1 las unidades. Si las dos entradas están
habilitadas, el módulo ocupa dos direcciones. Dado que las
direcciones son necesariamente consecutivas, sólo la primera
(entrada 1) se programa por los conmutadores rotativos
X10 y X1, la dirección de la segunda entrada se programa
automáticamente, ej. si la primera entrada tiene la
dirección 58, la segunda entrada tiene la dirección 59.
