START UP AND USE
ON THE FIRST USE
When unpacking your appliance, make sure to carefully remove
*
all the support materials, plastic bags and labels included in
the packaging.
Check the contents to ensure that all the parts and accessories
*
are present and undamaged.
Before using your appliance, clean the attachments and accessories
*
in soapy water or water with washing up liquid.
Carefully rinse and dry all the parts.
*
Refer to the Maintenance section.
HAND BLENDER ASSEMBLY AND START UP
The hand blender may be used for puréeing and
*
mixing sauces, soups, baby food, pancake batter,
smoothies, mayonnaise, etc.
To assemble the hand blender, insert the blending
*
attachment into the motor unit and twist until it
locks into place.
Submerge the blending shaft to the bottom of the
*
processed mixture then turn on the appliance by
pressing button I or II.
Make sure not to tilt the shaft to prevent the risk
*
of splatter.
Caution: do not use for blending very hard foods.
*
WHISK ASSEMBLY AND START UP (DEPENDING ON MODEL)
The whisk is intended for whipping cream or
*
whisking egg whites only. It can also be used for
whisking relatively liquid preparations.
To assemble the whisk, insert the metal whisk
*
into the whisk drive, then twist the drive into
the motor unit until it locks in place.
Submerge the blending whisk to the bottom of
*
the processed mixture, then turn on the appliance
by pressing button I or II.
ASSEMBLY AND START UP OF THE POTATO MASHER
(DEPENDING ON MODEL)
The potato masher attachment is used for making
*
mashed potatoes or carrot purée.

To prevent damage to your appliance,
*
always process cooked food only.
To assemble the attachment, insert it into its
*
holder, then into the motor unit and twist until
it locks into place.
Submerge the appliance into a large salad bowl
*
containing carrots or potatoes cooked in water.
Turn on the appliance.
*
Move the potato masher up and down in the
*
mixture until you have obtained the desired results.
Once the purée is done, turn off the appliance.
