4. Toasting
•
Select the Bake/Toast position on the mode switch.
•
Turn the Temperature Control Knob to the maximum setting.
•
Place the oven shelf in the middle position (b or c).
•
Open the oven door, and while open, push the Grill Slide across to the right. Place toast on the oven shelf.
Close the door so it rests against the door stop on the Grill Slide. The door will remain ajar while toasting
(fig. 3) and this allows air circulation within the oven.
•
When toasting is finished, return the Grill Slide across to the left and the door should close normally.
Hotplates - Models MO625 and MO750
The hotplates have fast heating elements. There are six heat settings for the hotplates, and these are set using
the hot plate controls. Only one hotplate can be used at the same time as the oven or grill.
On the MO750 the left hand hotplate will always work even if the oven or grill are operating. However, if the right
hand hotplate is switched on while the left hand hotplate and the oven or grill are operating, the oven will
automatically be switched off. The Power On Light will remain on when the oven is operating but will go out to
show the oven has been switched off it the right hand hotplate is switched on. This is a safety feature designed
to prevent overload of the power supply. Both hotplates can be used together if the oven and grill are not
operating.
Ensure that the control is in the off position when the hotplate is not in use. Remember it will take some time for
the hotplates to cool down after use.
Care and Cleaning
Switch off and remove the plug from the power supply, and allow to cool before cleaning.
CLEANING THE OVEN
Wipe with a damp cloth. Stubborn stains or burnt on residues should be removed using a damp cloth or foam
based cleaner. DO NOT use harsh scourers or any type of caustic or ammonia oven cleaning solutions.
Note: If a major spillage occurs inside the oven compartment wipe clean with a damp cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE
THE APPLIANCE IN LIQUID. Take care when cleaning around the thermostat and elements and avoid any
sharp edges and corners.
OVEN SHELF AND TRAYS
Wash immediately after use in hot sudsy water to prevent grease accumulation.
OUTSIDE
Clean the outside of the oven with a non abrasive cleaner or wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
HOT PLATES (where fitted)
Use normal liquid cleaners and do not use scourers and abrasive cleaners.
The hot plate requires an occasional light application of vegetable oil to retain its brand new look.
Service
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
