5. Using the refrigerator

• Before starting to use the new refrigerator you should clean it with a damp cloth.
• The refrigerator must be plugged in direct current 12 / 24V DC or in 100-240V AC 50 / 60Hz.
• Turning on the refrigerator:
- Switch on the refrigerator pressing the on/off button.
- Change the position of the thermostat selector from the OFF position to the desired position from 1 to 7.
The compressor safety system will turn on and off the compressor if the battery power reaches the following ratings:
This way there is no risk for the user of running out of power to the vehicle ignition. The system will operate automatically after the
battery charge becomes normal again.
The RES18GP and RES18GP/4VR models feature a battery protection selector. In these models it is possible to choose between two
protection bands.
