6. Place the protective lid (5) on the collecting container. Make sure
that it fits correctly (see picture).
The silicone closure (B) on the protective lid is de- signed to make
sure that any food which is left over can be stored in the collecting
B
container for a short time. It must not be fitted over the opening for
the motor shaft during use.
7. Place the motor unit on the protective lid. Make sure that it is
placed on correctly. The latch must fit in the recess on the protective
lid (see picture).
8. Press the On / Off switch (9) and hold it down. The motor shaft
rotates and the blades cut or the stirring insert or whisk mixes up the
food.
9. Let go of the On / Off switch once the food has been fully chopped
up or stirred together.
10. If the device is no longer going to be used, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and place
the motor unit to one side.
11. Take off the protective lid and remove the food from the collecting container.
PLEASE NOTE! Do not reach into the blades as you do this!

CLEANING AND STORAGE

PLEASE NOTE!
• Remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the device.
• All accessories, apart from the motor unit (!), can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
• Do not clean the motor unit in the dishwasher!
• Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. These could damage the
surfaces.
1. Pull the motor shaft (6, 7) off the receptacle for the motor shaft (A).
2. If necessary, carefully detach the stirring insert (4), the whisk (3) or the blade attachment (2) from
the motor shaft.
3. Wipe down the motor unit (8) with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
4. Clean all other accessory parts with clear, hot water and a little mild detergent or in the dishwasher.
5. Allow all parts to dry completely before assembling the device and / or putting it away for storage.
6. Store the device and all accessory parts in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to children and
animals.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the
problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a electrical device yourself!
If the device will not switch on, check the following:
• Is the motor unit (8) seated correctly on the protective lid (5) and therefore on the motor
shaft (6, 7)?
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Has the fuse of the mains connection been activated?
