Transport ing t he Carpet Sham pooer/Ext ract or
Wh en moving the carpet sh ampooer/ extractor from on e location to an oth er, always make sure th e recovery an d
clean water solution tanks are completely empty. Th en tilt th e un it sligh tly backward an d roll on rear wh eels or use
th e carpet shampooer/ extractor's carryin g h andle for tran sportin g up an d down stairs.
D. Push power switch on, wh ich is located on th e back side
of th e un it.
E. Pull up an d h old th e solution release trigger an d apply
two sprayin g strokes by movin g th e carpet sh ampooer/
extractor forward an d th en backward at a moderate pace
two tim es. As th e n ozzle moves over th e carpet, th e
clean in g solution is sprayed on to th e carpet. At th e same
time th e n ozzle picks up th e dirty water an d places it in
th e recovery tan k. It is importan t to move th e carpet
shampooer/ extractor in a steady motion over any surface.
F. Release th e trigger to stop th e solution flow. Avoid over-
soaking.
G. Move th e carpet sh ampooer/ extractor over th e carpet
several more times without en gagin g th e trigger. Repeat
this process until little or no water is visibly traveling under
th e clear suction sh ield. Th is removes excess water an d
h elps th e carpet dry faster.
H. Repeat steps E, F, an d G on h eavily soiled areas.
