Using SKYFi 3 at Home

Place the antenna on
a window or an exte-
rior wall so that it points
south or southwest with
respect to your location.
CD/LINE/AUX IN
The home antenna is "weatherproof" and may be mounted outdoors. The
antenna has been tested and passed at -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F) and
95% humidity. The antenna should not be submerged and should be protected
from ice fall.
Antenna Aiming
Turn on your SKYFi .

To aim the antenna, use SKYFi 3 's antenna aiming feature.
Press Menu and use the arrow buttons and Play/Pause to select "Settings, "
"Setup, " and "Antenna Aiming. "
Slowly turn and tilt the antenna, pausing in between for approximately 5
seconds to allow the signal to be received. The signal bars on the display will
change accordingly. Find the position that shows at least four bars on either
"satellite" or "terrestrial. "
The antenna aiming screen remains as long as it is needed to help you position
the antenna. When you have found the best position, press the left arrow button
repeatedly to exit the "Settings" menu.

Remote Control
Remember to pull out the clear plastic tab from the
battery compartment before using the remote.
To remove the battery from the remote, use your
thumb to press the center of the battery tray and
pull it out. Replace the battery with the equivalent
size and voltage, taking care to insert it with the
positive (+) side up.
