• For details on how to check the wireless LAN
router settings, refer to the operation manual of
your wireless LAN router.
• In some cases, SSID name and wireless
network key numbers/characters are written on
the wireless LAN router.
• Check that your wireless LAN router uses the
latest firmware version. For details, refer to the
operation manual of your wireless LAN router.

Press MENU.

Press . or > repeatedly until "Wi-
Fi SETUP?" appears, then press
ENTER.
"SSID?" appears.

Press ENTER.
"Searching" appears.

Press . or > repeatedly until your
wireless LAN router SSID name
appears, then press ENTER.
If you set the wireless network key in the
wireless LAN setting, "KEY?" appears.
Press ENTER.
If you do not set the wireless network key,
the CPF-IX001 restarts.
Note
The CPF-IX001 cannot display the "~" (tilde)
character, so care should be taken for the
following two points.
– When the SSID name contains a "~", this is
displayed as a space.
– You cannot enter "~" by wireless network key
entry. When "~" entry is necessary, perform the
wireless LAN setup using your computer. For
details, refer to the Quick Setup Guide included
with the CPF-IX001, or "Explanation of
wireless setup windows" and "Wireless LAN
Setup window" under "Additional information"
in the Operating Instructions included with the
CPF-IX001.

Letter types change as shown below:

The CPF-IX001 restarts and the setup is
completed.
