Extra safety directions
Always hold the machine with both hands. When having
contact with an electric cable, the free metal parts of the
machine also become conducted by which the user may get
an electric shock. Preferably wear protecting gloves.
Only put in the plug when the switch is off.
The machine may not be moistly.
Always use the machine under supervision. Do NOT touch
turning parts.
Take care that you stand tightly.
Wear the prescribed and fitting clothes.
Because of possibly dust particles, it is advisable to wear a
dust mask and safety glasses.
Check if the tuck-point is well fixed.
Before using the machine check if all screws are well
fastened. Because of vibrations created during the work,
screws can be loosen, which can lead to damage or injury.
Do not touch the metal parts of the machine or diamond
blades after use; these can be hot and cause burns.
Prevent that the machine accidentally switches on. Always
unlock the switch if you pull the plug out or in case of an
electricity failure.
Carbon brushes
The machine is equipped with special carbon brushes which
switch off their selves in case of too much wear. By this it
prevents that the machine will be damaged by bad working
carbon brushes. Check the carbon brushes at the yearly obliged
inspection (NEN 3140 & NEN – EN 50144) and if necessary
replace them by a qualified expert.
Exhaustion
The dust created during the job is damaging for the health. Use
a dust exhaustion system if you work without water cooling and
wear a dust mask if necessary. Using a dust exhaustion is also
recommended for an optimal efficiency of the tuck-point. More

tools.
Warranty
For the JC-1250 counts a warranty period of 12 months which
starts at the moment of delivery. Warranty claims have to be
proved by showing the purchase invoice. The warranty contains
repairing the occurred lacks; which can be lead back to material
and/or manufacturing faults.
Not covered by warranty:
Lacks or damages, which occurred by wrong use or
connecting.
The machine is overloaded.
When directions in this manual are ignored.
The machine is used by unauthorized persons.
There has been bad or wrong maintenance.
The machine is used for unsuitable purposes.
The machine is repaired with non-original spare parts.
The machine code is affected or removed.
Lacks by fire, moist and/or transport damage.
USE THE RIGHT TYPE TUCK-POINT
Choose a type which is suitable for the material to be grind. We

advise tuck-points from Carat. Seriously observe the manual of
the tuck-points. Take care that the tuck-point is turning the
right direction. Watch to the arrow on the label of the wheel
which is corresponding with the direction from the arrow on the
gear case. After assembling, most of the blades have the arrow
on the front.
MOUNTING THE TUCK-POINT
Needed tools:
Cam key
Mounting the tuck-point:
First ALWAYS pull out the plug
Keep the main shaft blocked and unscrew the flange by
using the cam key.
Check the condition of the flange set, before mounting the
tuck-point. The base plane between the saw flange and
tuck-point has to be clean and carefully fit.
Put the flange back and tighten properly by using the cam
key.
USE
The power of the wall socket has to fit to the power indication
on the type plate of the machine.
In case of a huge decrease of the rotation speed while using the
machine, a lower pressure on the machine is advisable. The
machine first has to increase in speed before restarting the
activities.
