Fixing the fittings
The procedure for fastening the fittings must be carried out in accordance with the instructions
contained in the User Manual for the Units. Make sure that the procedure described below does not
conflict with the contents of this Manual.

The tightness of the fitting is guaranteed only for one fixing: it is necessary to replace
the fitting for each repeated tightening operation.
Apply spray oil (included) on the flare of the insert;

Secure the fitting by screwing the nut by hand for at least two complete turns, making sure that

it is aligning correctly;
Secure the nut with a torque wrench.

It is recommended to respect the declared tightening torques, i.e.:
Secure the nut firmly by using another wrench on the fitting of the Unit (or on the group of
taps) to be able to apply the correct tightening force without damaging the fitting.
Completing the installation
After testing the tightness, wrap the part of

Purging the circuit
After completing installation, it is

the internal pressure inside
is measured via an electronic vacuum gauge which is not included. The pressure is stably below
500 mTorr if, when the purge pump is switched off, the value indicated by the vacuum gauge
does not exceed this threshold.
