Manually Setting the Vertical Angle:
1. With the fan completely o , gently rotate the fan's top housing across
its arc to the desired angle. Then turn on the fan in non-oscillating
mode by selecting level 1, 2 or 3 on the left side of the control knob.
The fan will remain at this angle.
2. Never attempt to adjust the oscillation while the fan is engaged.
Doing so will damage the fan and void the warranty.
3. To return the fan to its straight or ush position, with the fan com-
pletely o , gently rotate the fan's top housing until it is centered and
aligned with its base.

cooler outside temperatures, or to an air conditioning unit. Since hot air
rises, direct the cool air from the fan by pointing it up to force the cooler
air into circulation.
