INSTALL AND CHARGE THE
HANDSET BATTERY
1. Remove the cover.
2. Insert the battery pack and replace the
cover.
3. Plug the AC adapter cord into the base.
Plug the other end into a 120V AC
outlet.
4. Place the handset on the base and charge for 15-20 hours.
MOUNT AND CONNECT THE PHONE
To mount the phone directly on a wall, drill two holes 3
apart. Thread a screw (not supplied) into each hole, letting the heads

extend about / inch.

1. Attach the supplied bracket to the base as
shown.
2. Plug one end of the supplied modular cord
TEL LINE
into the jack. Plug the other
end into a telephone wall jack.
3. Insert the supplied AC adapter's barrel
DC IN 9V
plug into the jack. Plug the
other end into a standard AC outlet.
4. Route the adapter and modular cords
through the base's grooves.
5. For a wall plate, plug the modular cord into
the wall plate jack. Align the base's
keyhole slots with the wall plate studs.
Slide the base downward to secure it.

For direct wall mounting, align the base's keyhole
slots with the mounting screws. Slide the base
downward to secure it.
6. Press and lift out the handset holder, flip it over, then
snap it back into place so it holds the handset.
7. Lift the base's antenna to a vertical position.

MAKING CALLS
Pick up the handset and press talk
tone, then dial the number.
ANSWERING CALLS
Pick up the handset from the base. If the handset is off the
base, press talk , any number, */tone or #.
ANSWERING SYSTEM
To turn the answering system on, press
hear the announcement "Answering system is on", the
current greeting message plays, and a confirmation tone
sounds.
To turn the answering system off, press
The announcement, "Answering system is off" sounds, and
the system turns off.
RECORDING AN OUTGOING
MESSAGE
