chosen a high-quality product made by EHEIM.
The saltwater pump is a high-quality product and works very reliably. The new
needle wheel design results in a powerful pump with an optimum supply of air.
Thanks to its compact construction it requires little space and it can be used for
most protein skimmers available on the market.
Please read these instructions carefully before you install your EHEIM saltwater
pump in your protein skimmer and before you start it up or start any maintenance
work.
Safety information
For use in closed rooms and for use in aquariums only.
Before putting your hand into the water in the aquarium, discon-
nect all electric equipment in the water from the power supply.
The power cord of this unit cannot be replaced. An external
power supply should not be repaired. If the power cord is dam-
aged, the unit should no longer be used. If an external power
cord or power supply is damaged, always replace them. Please
contact your specialist store or your EHEIM service centre.
For your own safety we recommend that you make a drip loop
with the power cord. This drip loop prevents any water running
along the cord from reaching the electrical socket.
If an extension lead with several sockets or an external power
supply is used, place it above the pump power connection.
