Rinse the pipeline thoroughly.

Close the shut-off valves in the inlet and outlet.

Relieve the pipeline pressure

Unscrew the temporary cover or old meter anti-clockwise.
Clean the connector's sealing surfaces and the measuring capsule's O-ring.

Grease the connector's sealing surfaces lightly with tap grease.

Screw the measuring capsule hand-tight into the connector and tighten it by

max.

Turn the computer unit to a position in which it is easily readable.

Seal the meter casing.

Turn the compact meter to a position in which it is easily readable.
IST geometry installation (only variances to TE1)

Apply a thin layer of tap grease to the measuring capsule's screw thread and small
O-ring as well as the L -profile seal.

Insert L-profile seal in the connector - its flat surface must face upwards.

Remove old O-ring.
Check the sealing surfaces and threads and clean with suitable equipment, as

necessary.
Grease the connector's sealing surfaces lightly with tap grease.

Check the correct direction of flow:
Arrow on the connector and on the plastic lower part of the meter.
Take care to correctly fix the blind hole in the plastic lower part on the metal pin in
the base on the inside of the connector at the flow outlet (pin may be missing in
exceptional cases).

Screw the heat meter hand-tight and then tighten with a hook spanner up to the
metallic stop.
