Programming the shut-down
• When the unit is running, press the

IPS FOR MORE EFFICIENT OPERATION OF THE UNIT
• To get the best results from your appliance, follow these recommendations:
• Close the windows and doors of the room to be cooled (Fig. 21). When
installing the appliance semi-permanently, you should leave a door slightly
ajar (at least 1 cm) to ensure proper ventilation.
• Protect the room from direct sunlight by partially closing the curtains and/

or blinds to reduce the strain on the unit (Fig. 22).
• Never place heavy objects on the appliance.
• Do not block the air inlet or outlet (Fig. 23). Do not obstruct the ventilation
grilles.
• Make sure there are no heat sources in the room.

ETHODS FOR DRAINING THE WATER
• When there is an excess of condensation in the appliance, it stops working and indicates
(which means TANK FULL as mentioned in the AUTO-DIAGNOSTICS section below). This
indicates that the condensation water must be drained by following the procedures below:
Manual drainage (Fig. 24)
1.
Unplug the appliance from the socket.
2.
Place a suitable container (not provided) under the drainage cap (see Fig. 24).
3.
Remove the drain plug.
4.
The water should be drained and collected in the container (not provided).
5.
Once the water has drained, put the cap back on the end of the hose.
6.
You can turn the unit back on.
Continuous drainage (Fig. 25)
1.
Unplug the appliance from the socket.
2.
Remove the drain cap. During this step, water may leak out, so make sure you have a
suitable container (not provided) to collect the water at fi rst.
3.
Connect a 2 m drain hose (not provided) (see fi g. 25).
4.
The water can be continuously drained via this hose into a bucket, for example.
5.
You can turn the unit back on.
