o NEVER attempt to clean the pellicle mir-
ror yourself. Take the camera to an
author)zed Canon servrce facility.
o Be especially careful not to damage the
mirror when replacing the focusing
screen.
The EOS RT features a "real time release
mode" to capture "decisive moments."
Set the mdn switch to "RT" to reduce the
shutter release time lag to 8 ms (0.008 sec.)
There are two additional changes to be
aware of with this mode:
1 . The one-shot focusing mode complete-
ly overrides Al servo.
2. The beeper tone is cancelled.
When the shutter button is pressed half-
way, the camera produces some opera-
tion noise similar to other singlelens reflex
camera's exposure noise.
