Installing the Driver

1. Before connecting the desktop reader to the PC for the first time, insert the
USB Driver Disk.
2. On the USB Driver Disk, browse to the folder SGR USB Admin Kit\SGR
USB Admin Drivers and double-click on the file Setup.bat.
If you are using Windows Vista or later and the User Account Control dialog
box appears, choose the Yes button.
The Device Driver Installation Wizard dialog box is displayed.
3. Choose the Next button.
4. If you are using Windows XP, the Software Installation window is displayed.
Choose the Continue Anyway button.
If you are using Windows Vista or later, the Windows Security dialog box is
displayed. Choose the Install button.
