Battery Charger Safety
Use the battery charger correctly
• Refer to the section of this manual relating to use of the battery charger before attempting to
charge the battery.
• Do not attempt to use the charger with any batteries other than those supplied. Keep your battery
charger clean; foreign objects or dirt may cause a short or block air vents. Failure to follow these
instructions may cause overheating or fire
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
WARNING: Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries
Torch Safety
When the torch is switched on, the following must be observed:
• Do not look directly into the lens
• Do not shine into a person's or animal's eyes
• Do not point the beam at cars, motorcycles, aircraft, ships or any other vehicle or machinery
that is operated by a person. Bright light can cause temporary blindness and could result in a
serious accident

Intended Use
Rechargeable torch for domestic use.
Unpacking Your Tool
• Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all its features and functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or
damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool
Before Use
IMPORTANT: The sealed lithium battery in this product will be drained from storage. The following
steps must be taken to ensure it is charged correctly. This will maximise the performance and
working life of the battery:
• Press the ON/OFF Switch (7) and check to see when the torch is ON
• NOW MAKE SURE the product is switched OFF. The torch will only charge in the OFF position
• Plug the Mains Charger (8) in to the mains power supply, and plug the small end into the
charging socket
• Leave to charge for a MINIMUM of 5 hours before first use
Note: If the torch fails to charge repeat the above, ensuring that the Switch (7) is in the OFF position.
Fitting the Carry Strap
• Prise apart the Strap Links (4) and remove them from the torch body
• Thread them through the ends of the Strap (5)
• Re-fit the Strap Links (4) to the torch body. Squeeze together tightly and check that they are secure

Operation
• Switch the torch ON or OFF using the Switch (7)
• The Pistol Handle (6) can be twisted through 90 degrees by pressing the Lock Button (3)
• Make sure the handle 'clicks' into position and is locked firmly
• To change the angle of the beam when the torch is surface mounted adjust the Adjustable
D-Stand/Handle accordingly
Charging
If the torch is not used on a regular basis, recharge after each use.
• Ensure the torch Switch (7) is OFF
• Mains Charger (8): Charge an empty battery for a minimum of 5 hours
Maintenance
Cleaning
• Use a slightly damp cloth with a mild detergent to clean the torch
• Do not store in direct sunlight
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional
and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), with
household waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose
of power tools
