1. Remove underbody panel – Using an M10 socket remove 3 plastic
nut from the forward edge of the underbody panel, using a T25 remove 4
screws form the rearward edge of the underbody panel. Return to
vehicle owner.
3. Fishwire bolts – Using the fishwire method in figure 2, install the 1/2"
carriage bolts and spacers into the vehicle frame and through the
rearmost attachment holes, leave fishwires attached. Installer may need
to enlarge the access hole and the attachment hole in vehicle frame to
accommodate the ½" bolt'.

2. Remove excess caulk – Using a knife or scraper remove excess caulk
or undercoating from the vehicle frame in the area of the hitch install.
Make sure that the M12 weldnuts are free from rust / debris.
4. Install hitch – Raise the hitch into position, aligning the slots in the
hitch with the attachment holes in the vehicle frame. Loosely install the
supplied M12 bolts and conical washers (teeth side toward hitch). Loosely
install the supplied conical washers (teeth side toward hitch) and nuts
onto the carriage bolts and spacers installed earlier. May need to trim
vehicle fascia in area of hitch bracket.
