Cold Air Channel

Intended use

Cold air channel for Frostair 1500, 1700, 2100, 2300 and
Saphir.
The Truma cold air channel was developed especially for cold
air distribution. It cannot be used for hot air.
The Truma cold air channel (1) consists of three telescopic
parts, and must be screwed directly to a firm wall. The cold air
pipes (2) are connected to the air duct by means of connec-
tion muffs (3 – not included in the scope of supply). If the spa-
tial conditions are restricted, a BGC elbow (4 – not included in
the scope of supply) can be connected directly to the connec-
tion muffs (3).

Installation instructions

The Truma cold air channel (1) is installed for preference in
a wardrobe or to a firm wall, taking into consideration the
number of cold air pipes (2) which are to be connected.
Fig. A
Decide on the height (up to a maximum of 1890 mm) depend-
ing on the chosen installation location. If necessary, the air
duct can be shortened by cutting the parts to length (7 + 5).
For the pipe connections, drill out an opening with Ø 60 mm
in each case, and screw in the connection muffs (3).
The cold air can also be conducted backwards through
the wall by means of a suitable opening (Fig. C: 9).

Paste the enclosed sealing strip (8) to the circumferential inner
edges of the air duct.
Fig. C
Secure the cold air channel to the wall, using suitable screws /
clamps (10 – not included in the scope of supply; the type and
length of the screws is to be selected depending on the char-
acteristics of the wall).
Connect the intake and outlet parts (5) to the middle section (7)
in the centre, using two screws (6) in each case.
